The Southern California Horticultural Society invites you to come on a Field Trip to Tree of Life Nursery in San Juan Capistrano. Event tickets include round-trip bus transportation, a personalized tour by owner Mike Evans and a delicious Mexican buffet lunch, as well as plant and gift shopping. Don’t miss a rare opportunity to visit this iconic nursery before it closes later this year!

Arrival Time: Please arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. to allow for check-in and 9:15 a.m. departure.
BONUS: Arrive early and enjoy a morning stroll at the Pierce College Arboretum and/or Taper Botanical Garden, both open from 7:30 a.m.
The tour at Tree of Life Nursery begins at 11:30 a.m. For those driving themselves, arrive by 11:15 a.m. at the latest.

DETAILS:
This special nursery will be closing at the end of 2025. Join us to hear owner Mike Evans give a talk before leading us on a personalized tour of his nursery, followed by a private Mexican buffet lunch in a covered area — all included with ticket.
After lunch, you'll have time to shop in the nursery and at Casa “La Paz” before bus check-in at 2:00 for a 2:30 departure and return to Pierce College. Don’t forget to bring water!
