The Southern California Horticultural Society is pleased to honor Dave Fross with the 2022 Horticulturist of the Year award. Fross founded Native Sons Nursery in 1979, specializing in plants native to California and Mediterranean climatic regions. He also taught horticulture for 25 years at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, and was influenced by many luminaries in plant research and the trade. He is the co-author of several influential books on landscaping with native plants. Fross will share the breadth and scope of his acquired knowledge in a program titled "Home Ground". We think he is the perfect person to bring us back together for the first live annual banquet and Silent Auction since 2019, and we hope you can join us!
Tickets are $45.00 (Benefactor Level members can receive 2 free tickets.) Dinner will be outside in the courtyard; the Silent Auction and presentation will be indoors. Masks are encouraged, but not required.
