    Here in Southern California, we are lucky to have many fantastic public gardens - The Huntington, Descanso Gardens, The Los Angeles Arboretum, Rancho Santa Ana and San Diego Botanical Gardens, to name some of the larger ones. People from all over the world come here to visit them. But where do Southern Californians long to go when they travel? Share with us your horticultural destinations!

    "I would love to see Sissinghurst, both for its gardens as well as for its relationship with English literature.  Also, I'd love to have a private tour of Giverny (sans crowds).  There are more gardens, all over the world, but these two came to mind, first!"
