In anticipation of our next SCHS meeting on Thursday, April 11 featuring Santa Barbara based author and landscape architect Billy Goodnick, let's show him some of our local 'Crimes Against Horticulture' -- which also happens to be the name of one of his popular blogs and the topic of his talk.

Send in some pictures or vivid descriptions of these horticultural horrors and we may put them online and possibly show them before the meeting. BTW try to keep specific location details out of the pictures... don't want to get in trouble now do we... or do we?

PHOTOS:  You can upload your photos into the SCHS Event Photos Forum which is also in the Memberlodge section.  Be sure to tell us to look there for them.

What a great topic! I've just uploaded 5 pictures of my favorite horticultural crime scenes. Sadly, it's not hard to find more.

BTW, a fun website for tree and shrub pruning information is Cass Turnbull's "Plant Amnesty" (based in Seattle):

Ok, I just uploaded five photos on this topic to the Event Photos page.  There are some classic photos already there.  Wow, thanks for those.
