Special Tour of the Borun Garden
Saturday, April 29, 2023, 10am - 2pm

Second Tour: 11am - 12pm

For over 50 years, the late Ruth Borun nurtured her garden and worked with designers and her daughter, Nancy, to create a treasure that was featured in the Los Angeles Times, Sunset magazine and Christopher Lloyd's book, Other People's Gardens. Our 2023 Ruth Borun Lecture Series speaker, Fergus Garrett, has carried on Christopher Lloyd's vision at Great Dixter Garden in the UK. In honor of the ties between us, the Borun family is inviting us to enjoy their garden at its spring peak this month.

This event will be divided into 4 tours comprised of 20 people each. Once the tours are filled, we will start a wait list. SCHS will be providing coffee, cold drinks and light refreshments at a gathering area outside of the garden itself. Please note: carpooling is encouraged due to limited street parking.

Registration is required to create a list for check-in at the event. The garden address and directions will be provided upon receipt of registration. Online registration closes on Friday, April 28 at 5pm. For questions, contact: socalhort@gmail.com or Laura at 626-437-9459
